Dunkin' Donuts Starting to Fill the Metro

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -The Kansas City metro will get its first Dunkin Donuts franchise in November and three more by 2010.

The first store will open near U.S. Highway 69 and 151st street in Overland Park, Kan.

Once that store opens, Dunkin Donuts plans to bring more than 60 of the shops to the area in the next 10 years. Each location will bring about 20 to 30 new jobs.

This will be the first Dunkin Donuts in the metro, there are locations in Lawrence, Kan. and St. Joseph, Mo.

Dunkin Donuts was founded in 1950.
