KANSAS CITY, Mo. – There are new developments in the case of a missing northland mother.
Renee Pernice, 35, has been missing since Jan. 2. Her purse and car are still at her home near 66th Terrace and North Holly Street. Her cell phone was found miles away on Independence Avenue.
Police believe her disappearance is suspicious but they don't have a suspect.
NBC Action News spoke with her father who says Renee's mother filed for custody of Renee's two boys.
They have been staying with their father, Shon, who now faces charges.
