NATOMA, Kan. - Most people don’t think about saddling up and riding over to Easter morning services, but if you are into horses and take a bit of a ride, there is a open air church service for you.
Maier Angus Ranch of Natoma, Kan., will play host to Easter Service in a backdrop that is “steeped in western heritage.”
Glenn Spencer, a rodeo announcer and a preacher for Cowboys for Christ, will oversee this unique church service.
“It is more of a conversation than a service,” said ranch owner Iva Maier. “It will be a relaxing atmosphere that everyone can enjoy regardless of their faith.”
The ranch is located east of Natoma between mile markers 44 and 45 on K-18. Guests will meet at the ranch house at 7 a.m. then head to the hill top for the services. Guests can ride their horses, or ride in a vehicle up to the top. After the service, the ranch will host a pancake and sausage breakfast.
