FREEMAN, Mo. – Investigators want your help finding the people responsible for the burglary of a convenience store and bar early Friday morning.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office released surveillance images of the suspects, one wearing a ski mask and the other a motorcycle helmet, as they burglarized the Conoco Gas Station, at C Highway and 2 Highway near Freeman, shortly after 3 a.m.
Police say the suspects stole about $1,000 in cash, alcohol and cigarettes from the gas station, as well as a 50-inch flat screen television from Crossroads, a bar next door to the gas station.
Cpl. Kevin Tieman, with the Cass County Sheriff's Office, says the suspects likely backed their vehicle into the front door of the gas station to gain access.
The suspects were seen leaving in a Ford F350 with an unidentified logo on the door.
Tieman says the same suspects may be involved in at least two other burglaries in Johnson County, Kan.
