GLADSTONE, Mo. -- A car crashed into the front of a Gladstone house on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a woman was driving the car when it struck the home in the 6700 block of N. Michigan Avenue.
The driver was taken to a hospital by ambulance, and her injuries are not serious.
No one was inside the home at the time of the crash.
The impact knocked a large piece of concrete from the corner of the house.
Codes inspectors were called to check the house, and they say the damage has made it structurally unsound.
