OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Police in Johnson County say they've received several reports of car burglaries and they're expecting more to come in as people wake up Thursday morning.

In Fairway, one suspected car burglar is under arrest and another one is being sought. Police say they saw the two breaking into cars.

Fairway Police say they spotted the suspects early Thursday morning in the 4600 block of East 60th Street. They brought in a K-9 unit to assist in the search for the suspects, which ended with just the one person in custody.

As of 8 a.m. Thursday morning, there were two confirmed reports of break-ins, but officers said they thought more reports could come in as residents wake up and notice the crimes.

In Overland Park, there was more of the same crime Wednesday night.

Police say three cars were hit on the 12800 hundred block of Bond. One was also hit on the next block over - the 12800 block of Cody. The neighborhood is just a few blocks east of Quivira.

Officials say another car was burglarized at 102nd and Kessler, and yet another at 103rd and Goddard.
