KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dozens of Camp Fire USA members are in Kansas City this weekend for a leadership conference downtown to help celebrate the organization’s 100-year anniversary.
Part of the conference involved a trip to Harvesters Community Food Network. The group, made up of high school and college students, helped package food for the needy. They came from all across the country including Hawaii and Texas.
In the 1970s, the organization began allowing males to join.
