Blue Valley District Hosting H1N1 Vaccine

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Select groups within the Blue Valley School District are eligible to participate in a H1N1 vaccine event this Wednesday.

The event is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Blue Valley District Office, 15020 Metcalf Ave.

Those eligible include:
  • Kindergarten and first grade students in the Blue Valley area
  • Children between six months to four years-old
  • Children ages 5-18 with high risk medical condition
  • Pregnant women
  • Primary care givers of infants under six months of age (this does not include daycare providers).
The event will feature both the vaccine shot and mist.

Parents or guardians will be required to sign a vaccination consent form prior to any child under the age of 18 receiving the vaccine.
