KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A group hoping to stop a deer hunt at Shawnee Mission Park is not giving up.

The group called, "Bite Club of KC” put up a billboard along westbound I-670 in Kansas City.

They're trying to convince the Johnson County Park Board to reconsider a controlled hunt planned for inside the park.

They say there are ways to control the deer population without killing them.

Parks board members say it is unlikely they will change their policy.
