KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The newly formed Happy Bottoms organization hopes to use next week to focus on babies and their bottoms.

The organization is holding a week-long – Nov. 8-14 is National Family Week – disposable diaper drive throughout the metro. They hope to collect 7,000 diapers in seven days with more than a dozen drop off sites to choose from. The goal is to provide free diapers to low income families in the metro.

Happy Bottoms has teamed with other community service organizations to distribute the diapers to qualified families. Organizers believe the free diapers will be a financial relief for parents and they'll help promote better hygiene for children.
