KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Instead of popcorn and a soda at the movies, select AMC Theater locations in the metro will try a new promotion called "A.M. Cinema".
The promotions allows early morning movie patrons the chance to purchase breakfast items such as cheese danish, an omelet, cinnamon rolls, juice and milk. Food and drink combos will be available for $5.
Five metro area AMC Theaters will offer the new morning menu at consession stands. They are Parkway 14; Barrywoods 24; Independence Commons 20; Studio 30; and Town Center 20.
Besides Kansas City, the program is being tested in a handful of
AMC theaters in Baltimore, Phoenix, Houston, and Tampa.
The test promotion runs through the Labor Day weekend.
