Traveling Turkeys Delivered to MS Patients

RAYTOWN, Mo. – The holidays will be brighter for dozens of individuals with MS and their families. They are receiving a donated turkey dinner and a visit from MS Society volunteers through their Traveling Turkeys event.

Volunteers delivered 48 baskets including turkey and all the fixins to families from Grain Valley to DeSoto.

Rebecca Barnes is one of the recipients. She has lived with symptoms of multiple sclerosis since 1995 and typically uses a scooter to go grocery shopping for her family.
