OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Three suspected prostitutes from Texas were arrested Wednesday afternoon in an Overland Park motel room.
The women allegedly advertised their services on the internet. Someone at the Red Roof Inn, 6800 West 108th Street, noticed a lot of people going in and out of a room the women occupied at the motel.
Police went to the room and established probable cause and arrested three women. They are 19-year-old Samantha Lynn Mason of Alvarado, Texas; 19-year-old Natisha Elyse Escobar of Grand Prairie, Texas and 28-year-old Autumn Charie Shelton of Grand Prairie, Texas.
The three were issued notices to appear in Overland Park Municipal Court to face the charges on May 26, 2009. They are each being held in the Johnson County jail on $1,000 bond.
