KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NBC Action Sports has confirmed that Kansas City is a finalist to host the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.
Jack Harry, Sports Director for NBC Action News, says Boston is the other finalist, but speculation is that Kauffman Stadium is the front-runner.
An official announcement could come as early as August of this year, Jack says.
If the All-Star Game comes to Kansas City, it would be the first time since Kauffman Stadium’s first year in 1973.
