Rain & Snow In The Forecast

Summary: The first taste of winter will arrive across parts of the area on Monday.  Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas where 1-3"+ of heavy wet snow could accumulate.  We need to watch this closely as any shift to the south could result in snow in the metro!

Tonight: Cloudy and chilly with a few lingering showers possible.  Wind: NE 12-22 mph.  Low: 37

Monday: Windy and cold with a rain likely in Kansas City, possibly mixing with or changing to snow for a period.  Rain changes to snow early in northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas.  Some location could see 1-3"+ of snow, mainly near and north of St. Joseph.  Wind: N 15-25 mph.  High:  39 

Tuesday: Cloudy with a chance of a cold rain.  High: 41
