KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City metro travelers who drive to the Lake of Ozarks need to be aware of a summer bridge closure.
The Route 2 bridge over the Grand River east of Freeman will close July 20 for deck replacement. The bridge is expected to re-open by late August in time for the new school year.
The bridge is a popular route for Lake-bound travelers from Kansas City. Drivers will need to seek out alternative routes during the bridge closure.
