KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A police pursuit ends with an accident and a watery finish.
Shortly after midnight Thursday, Kansas City Police followed a PT Cruiser driving erratically down the road. Police made use of their helicopter to keep tabs on the vehicle as it switched streets and directions.
The chase ended with the suspect’s vehicle hitting a parked car near Ewing and Gregory, and pushing the second car into a fire hydrant. Water started to flow onto the streets causing a temporary shut down of water services to the area.
The driver of the PT Cruiser was taken into police custody.
