PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - Pastor Timmy Gibson and his wife, Jana of Mercy Church in Prairie Village have issued a challenge to every married couple in the Greater Kansas City Area: have more sex!

It’s an annual event that is now in its fifth year where married churchgoers pledge to engage in “Hanky-Panky” every day in the month of February. Not surprisingly, the Gibsons say that it’s the most popular series they teach every year.

Their goal is to help couples improve their marriages by increasing intimacy. Aside from that, they claim that studies show that sex relieves stress and just keeps you healthy.

"It’s unfortunate that sex is one of the topics churches stay away from and sometimes even make people feel like it’s something dirty," Tim and Jana say."God created sex and it should be fun, awesome, fulfilling and enjoyed by both husband and wife…regularly!”
