KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A fatal rollover wreck shut down all eastbound lanes on Interstate 435 at State Line for about two and a half hours Thursday.
Police say a car flipped on its side around 6:30 p.m. near Holmes Road.
Officers said on Friday that 56-year-old Karen Barchers of Kansas City, Mo., was killed in the accident.
The two right lanes on eastbound I-435 at Holmes were closed and I-435 eastbound at State Line was shut down completely for about two and a half hours.
The cause of the accident is not yet known. The accident is still under investigation.
