JACKSON CO., Mo. – Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies say a teen killed in an ATV crash had just left an all night party.
The body of 18-year-old Garen Bindi, of Oak Grove, Mo., was found around 6 a.m. Sunday along Colbern Road near Missouri Highway F in an unincorporated part of Jackson County, Mo.
Deputies say the teen went for a ride on his ATV around 5:30 a.m., when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
When Bindi did not return, his friends went looking for him. That is when they discovered his body.
Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but were still waiting Tuesday for the results of an autopsy.
