BASEHOR, Kan. – The Leavenworth County Sheriff’s Department has released the cause of death for a Basehor teenager who died in October.
A preliminary report shows 16-year-old Jeremy Lee died of a drug overdose.
He was found dead inside his Basehor home on Oct. 23.
Lee's brother called 911 after he found his brother not breathing.
He was a former student at Basehor-Linwood High School.
