WASHINGTON – The Secret Service is investigating how a couple managed to crash President Barack Obama’s first state dinner on Wednesday.

Michaele and Tareq Salahi weren’t on the guest list, but they were still able to get into the event and get take pictures with people like Vice President Joe Biden.

A Secret Service spokesman insists the president was never in any danger, saying the couple went through the same security screening as the rest of the guests.

The Secret Service only learned about the breach after the couple posted pictures on Facebook, and bragged about the private event.

There is a Facebook page dedicated to discussion about the Salahi’s aspirations to be reality T.V. stars, vying for a spot on the upcoming “Real Housewives of D.C.”
