RAYTOWN, Mo. – The Metro Squad is investigating the deaths of two children, their 21-year-old aunt and another unidentified man.

The collection of detectives from 10 metro police agencies still has many unanswered questions, including why was a 1 ½-year-old child also inside the apartment spared his life and who was the man found with the others?

Investigators answered one of those questions Wednesday, when they identified the 33-year-old Kansas City man.

The boys’ father found the bodies and the unharmed child in the Amber Glenn Apartments, near 61st Street and Raytown Road around noon Monday.

The boys are brothers – 10-year-old Amir Clemons and 5-year-old Gerard Clemons.

The aunt was identified Tuesday as Precious Triplett.

The family says the boys wanted to spend the night with their aunt for the first day of their spring break vacation.

Police did not say how the people inside died, but said they are investigating the case as a quadruple homicide.

If you have any information, you are urged to call the TIPS Hotline at (816) 474-TIPS.
