Poison control

Not everything that is poisonous is marked with a skull and crossbones. You should read all your chemical product labels. Even household cleaners can be poisonous. You should dispose of unlabeled chemicals according to local community standards. Lock poisonous chemicals away where children will be unable to get to them. If you think someone has swallowed poison, find the bottle. It's crucial to know what poison was ingested. You should call the poison control center or the emergency room immediately. Keep these numbers by the phone. Time is of the essence. Try to remain calm and do exactly as they say. Even your household plants could be poisonous, so be sure to research any plants you have in your home before children are around them.
