It was a warm and muggy Monday afternoon that resulted in rain and thunderstorms across the Kansas City metro area.

NBC Action Chief Meteorologist Gary Lezak said Tuesday’s forecast is still very complex.

Tuesday’s high will be 80 degrees with a 70 percent chance of rain. You can expect scattered showers and more possible thunderstorms.

So far, you can expect another day of rain later this week and high temperatures in the 70s and 80s.
