KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The metro is bracing for another round of severe storms.
NBC Action Weather Plus Meteorologist Jeremy Nelson says thunderstorms are evolving and will head into eastern Kansas and western Missouri this evening.
The storms were in southeast Nebraska at 4 p.m.
The biggest threat will be wind gusts of 40-60 mph.
Parts of Kansas City, Kan. are still cleaning up after a microburst Tuesday evening.
The microburst brought rain and wind to parts of Johnson and Wyandotte Counties.
In the 4900 block of Natoma, a tree came crashing down a house and car.
Luckily, there were no injuries related to storm damage reported on Tuesday. The wind did knock out power to about 1,000 KCP&L customers in the Mission and Roeland Park area.
In Liberty, Mo., a surprise thunderstorm caused damaged to two apartment buildings.
High winds, hail and rain also knocked down trees, power lines and poles.
After tonight’s storms we could see more storms tomorrow morning.
