BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - If you live in Blue Springs, it's easy to
find out online when a snow plow will be coming down your street.
The city divided its plowing areas into seven zones.
The first area that gets attention is northeast of Interstate 70 and Highway 7.
The crews hit the streets when about three-quarters to one inch of snow accumulates on the road, according to the city's website.
If the snowfall is greater than two inches, crews work on residential streets.
Last on the list is the southern area of the city near Colbern Road.
