Westport High Falls Short of State Playoffs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Westport High Tigers were unable to make it to the state playoffs.

The Tigers fell to the Kearney Bulldogs opening round of the state playoffs on Nov. 4. They lost 63-7.

The Tigers, coached by Dan Stanley, ended their season at 4-7. They did win a share of the Interscholastic League Championship.

The team had three players- Brain Townsend, Theo Johnson and Concepcion Rosa – selected as Interscholastic League Football Player of the Week during the season.
