OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Gianna Misenhelter just completed an amazing high school golf career.

Last Monday, the St. Thomas Aquinas senior golfer captured the Kansas Class 5A State Championship by one stroke. It was the third straight year Misenhelter won the title. A Kansas high school girls golfer hasn’t won three straight state titles in 14 years.

Misenhelter shot a 2-over-par 75 to win this year’s state championship at Brookridge Country Club. She helped St. Thomas Aquinas win the team title by 69 strokes.

The Saints senior golfer has committed to play golf at Kansas State.
