LAWRENCE, Kan. - Intoxicated Lawrence residents might have to find their own way home this New Year's Eve.
The city's "Tipsy Taxi" service doesn't have the cash to offer safe rides home.
Because of state budget cuts and a drop in donations, the group that runs the service says it is $2,000 short.
"Tipsy Taxi" has been running for 25 years. Last year, more than 750 people called for a ride home.
