TOPEKA, Kan. – Barak Obama’s historic win for the presidency is sparking talk about what role Gov. Kathleen Sebelius might play in his administration.
In a statement Wednesday, Sebelius said she would be honored to contribute to an Obama administration however she can, which could include a Cabinet post.
She made similar statements as one of four finalists this summer tobe Obama's vice presidential running mate. The Democratic governorendorsed Obama in January and has campaigned regularly for him in otherstates.
Kansas Democratic Party Chairman Larry Gates said he can't imagine Sebelius not being on a list of potential Cabinet appointees.
