JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Democrat Chris Koster has declared victory in Missouri's attorney general race after Republican candidate Michael Gibbons conceded defeat.

With more than 90 percent of the state's precincts reporting, Koster led by more than 117,000 votes. A spokesman for Gibbons campaign said the concession came just after 11 p.m. as Koster's lead continued to grow.

Democratic Secretary of State Robin Carnahan easily won re-election against Republican Mitch Hubbard. In the lieutenant governor's race, incumbent Peter Kinder held a 103,000 vote lead over Democratic challenger Sam Page.

In the state treasurer's race, Democrat Clint Zweifel pulled ahead of Republican Brad Lager. Zweifel had trailed through much of the night but led by about 55,000 votes with more than 90 percent reporting.
