Teens Killed in SE MO Accident

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. – Three teens drowned after their car tumbled into a rain-filled creek in southeast Missouri.

The Poplar Bluff Police Department said officers rushed to the accident Friday morning and found two cars submerged in the overflowing creek.

Three victims trapped inside the same car and had to be extricated.

They were identified as 16-year-old Kyle Rose, and two brothers, 16-year-old Jeremiah Klein and 15-year-old Christopher Klein. All three were from Poplar Bluff.

The driver of the second car was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No other details were immediately released. The accident is under investigation.
