Meth Lab Remnants Found on Hiking Trail

LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Remnants of a meth lab was discovered along a hiking trail near the Prairie Park Nature Center.

Lawrence Police say a hiker called 911 Monday night. He told dispatchers he found a tub with several glass jars filled with chemicals.

Hazmat investigators conducted a series of tests of the chemicals. They concluded the chemicals were used in the making of meth.
