Teen Pleads Guilty in KCK Murder

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A teenager once thought to be the youngest person in Wyandotte County to face a murder charge pleaded guilty Thursday in that killing.

Antwaun D. Taylor, now 15, admitted to killing Charles McElroy on April 19, 2008.

Taylor's plea came in Wyandotte County Juvenile Court in Kansas City, Kan.

Taylor was just 13 at the time of the murder.

He shot McElroy several times in the stomach and chest, according to information released by the Wyandotte County District Attorney's Office.

The killing occurred near 32nd and Brown.

Sentencing is set for Dec. 10.
