KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Authorities are looking for a man who used what appears to be an issue of the Kansas City Star to conceal what he said was a weapon.

The FBI says the man threatened that he had a weapon, but never showed what may have been under the newspaper during the robbery, at the Bank of America located at 4720 Jefferson.

The suspect appears to be a black male and was wearing a black t-shirt and a blue bandana over his face. He was about 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10.

He took off in a maroon-colored sedan.

No injuries were reported and no other details were released.
