INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The sexual abuse case against an elderly father and his sons continues to grow.

A search warrant was served Friday at the Independence property of 77-year-old Burrell Mohler, Sr.

Mohler, Sr., is accused of forcible rape and other crimes in Lafayette County, Mo., court.

His four sons are each also facing charges in the case.

Jackson County Sheriff’s deputies served the search warrant on a shed in the backyard of where Mohler, Sr., and his wife were living. The home is located in the 1300 block of Dodgion.

Deputies will not comment on what was uncovered during the search warrant.

Thursday, in Columbia, Mo., a search warrant revealed that the alleged victims accused the Mohlers of taking them to various locations and photographing them with naked men. The search warrant from Columbia states that the alleged victims told their mother about the abuse, but she did not tell authorities – she told church leaders instead. But the Community of Christ Church Thursday said a check of their records shows no such complaint.
