HARRISONVILLE, Mo. -- Desperate for answers, friends and family of Cara Jo Roberts are helping to increase the reward money for information into her murder.

On Nov. 5, 2008 Cara was found murdered in her home in the 800 block of N. Patton in Harrisonville, Missouri. Cara's husband discovered her body in the bathtub. Police did have a sketch of a person of interest, but have not turned up any leads into her murder.

In honor of the one year anniversary of her death, $13,000 was contributed to the reward fund. The reward now stands at $35,000.

Police ask anyone with information to call the tips hotline at (816) 474-TIPS or text at tip at TIPS452. All calls will remain anonymous.
