KCK Police Chase Ends with Suspect in Custody

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – A police car chase ended Wednesday evening with a shooting suspect in custody.

The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 3200 block of North 84th Place. One person was grazed by a bullet.

Police say a car with three people inside pulled up to a duplex on North 84th Place and fired shots. They took off and a chase ensued.

Police caught them at Interstate 435 and Parallel in KCK. One suspect was taken into custody.

Relatives on the scene told NBC Action News that the victim is a woman in her 20’s, although police will not confirm that.

No other information was immediately released.
