Crack Seized Near Warrensburg School

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Police arrested a man and seized a large quantity of crack cocaine and some marijuana when they served a search warrant at a house at 408 Jackson this morning.

Raymond L. Lanear, 48, is charged with felony possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.   Police say the house where the drugs were confiscated is within 2,000 feet of a school.

Missouri Highway Patrol officers and deputies from the Johnson County, Mo., Sheriff’s Department assisted Warrensburg Police in the investigation. 

Lanear is being held in the Johnson County, Mo. Jail, pending the filing of formal charges by the county prosecutor.
