KANSAS CITY, Mo. - In the Fall when night time temperatures start to drop below the 50's, it's time to start bringing our tropical plants indoors.

Insecticidal soaps is a must for your house plants. The process requires you to repot the plant or trimming back, it needs to be inspected for bugs. A lot of bugs hide on the underside of leaves are along the stem line.

A lot of the mistakes that people make are that they don't keep up with consistent watering or they'll place the plants too close to a heat register or air conditioning and that type of artificial air is really bad for the plant.

You just need to do a little bit of maintenance at this time before it gets too cold or too rainy to work on the plant before you bring it inside.

If you don't want to wash every plant you can put it in the shower.
