1 pkg[12 oz] Johnsonville® Original Breakfast Sausage Patties Prepare according to package instructions.
6 each Eggs Beaten
¼ Cup Half and Half
1 Tablespoon Butter
To Season-Salt and Pepper
8 slices American Cheese
8 slices Garden Tomato Sliced thin
8 pieces Butter Lettuce
1 Cup Bacon Breakfast Spread*
8 small Dinner Rolls
Method:
1. Prepare the sausages according to package instructions. Reserve warm.
2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and half and half together. Season with salt and pepper
3. Add the eggs to asauté pan and scramble until just set. Reserve warm.
Bacon Breakfast Spread
Yield: 1 Cup
Ingredients: Preparation:
1 Cup Salad Dressing or Mayonnaise
1 pkg of Pre-Cooked Bacon Crumbled
Method:
1. In a small bowl, combine salad dressing/mayonnaise with bacon, mix thoroughly.
To Build the Dagwood
1. Split and toast the rolls.
2. Spread the inside of each roll half with a layer of Bacon Breakfast Spread.
3. Place one sausage patty on the bottom half of each roll.
4. Top the sausage with egg, American cheese, tomato and lettuce leaf.
5. Top the sandwich with top half of roll.
6. Serve and enjoy.
