KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police say a man was shot in the face in a violent incident near 39th Street and Garfield Avenue early Sunday morning.
It happened about 5 a.m. at 2002 E. 38th St.
The victim was rushed to a hospital in serious condition. By Sunday afternoon, police said the victim’s condition was improving.
There are no suspects in custody.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
