KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Interstate 70 series is underway at Kauffman Stadium this weekend.
There are a limited number of tickets available for Saturday’s game as the Royals take on the Cardinals.
If you are not taking dad to the stadium for the game, there are three promotional days that might help make you father happy this weekend.
On July 4, the Royals are holding a Fan-Vote Retro Giveaway. The first 10,000 ladies will get a free Royals Halter Top. The first 10,000 guys will receive a free Royals Classic Ringer Tee.
On July 17, fans will have a chance to celebrate the opening of the Hall of Fame at the stadium. It is also the day the Hall of Fame Classic will hit a homer with fans as Royals greats take part in an exhibition game against former MLB stars.
Then, dig out the go-go boots, bell bottoms and peace signs as the ‘K’ goes retro to the 1970s. Infield tickets for the Wednesday game are just $5 each.
