KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kids looking to unload their stash of Halloween candy will have an opportunity to do so Sunday and Monday when three metro area orthodontists host candy exchange events.
The free exchange events are intended to give families a healthy alternative to sugar-laden candy collected during Halloween.
Smiles Change Lives is promoting the event to encourage good oral health.
-10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday: Burleson Orthodontics 4151 N. Mulberry Dr., Suite 210
Kansas City, MO 64116 (co-hosted by the Wonderscope Children’s Museum)
- 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday: Roth Orthodontics at Clear Creek Elementary, 5815 Monticello Road, Shawnee KS 66226
- 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday: Hechler Orthodontics, 12800 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park, KS 66213
Each event will include games, prizes and give-a-ways for the entire family.
All candy collected will be donated to troops serving overseas.
