KANSAS CITY, Mo. – You can get in free to one of five Kansas City Power & Light District bars Friday night if you donate some food or clothes to the Salvation Army.
Patrons are asked to bring five canned or dry food items or two clothing items to Angels Rock Bar, PBR Big Sky Bar, Shark Bar, Mosaic or Tengo Sed Cantina
The free cover is good at the location you bring the food to from 6 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday.
According to the Power & Light District Web site’s
event calendar, DJ Ladys will be at Mosaic Friday night and Tengo Sed will be hosting a ‘Pilgrims and Indians’ bash.
Two-dollar parking validation is available at
two parking garages near the district, which is centered right across Grand Avenue from Sprint Center, at 14th Street.
