MONTREAL, Canada – Customers at one upscale restaurant can decide how much their meal should be worth.

Customers at the Taverne Crescent will get a blank check after ordering their meal.  Restaurant officials say the customer can they decide how much they feel they should pay for it.

“If you think it’s worth $10, then pay $10,” says restaurant owner George Pappas.

Pappas says people have been fair and seem to leave happy.

He hopes the idea of paying what you want will bring in new customers during these economic times.  But marketing experts say it’s a great idea, but only works for so long.
