Support Your Local Chicken!
It may be Monday in Kansas City but Chef Jasper Mirabile has created the perfect chicken dish using local chicken and simple ingredients that are easy to work with. Whether it is Sunday dinner with family or a quick weekday dinner, this dish will sure please your family and friends.
Sunday Dinner Chicken
2 lbs Local Chicken
3/4 cup Sour Crem
1 Tbs Fresh Chives (Chopped)
1/2 cup White Wine (Pinot Grigio, Chardonay or Reisling)
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 Tbs Butter
Salt & Pepper (To Taste)
1/2 tsp Paprika
Directionscut chicken into several parts. Wash and pat dry. Place chicken in a butter greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, wine & chopped chives, salt and pepper. Spread mixture on top of chicken. Add cream. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for up to 1 hour.

Hmmm...more herbs perhaps, be creative, use your favorite. As for me, I like to serve this on a bed of buttery rice...MMMMMM DELICIOUS!
