A special hello goes out to the 4th graders at Sunflower elementary in Gardner, Kansas.
They are wrapping up a Fall weather unit and I was out there yesterday to talk some weather.
The Ice Terrace at Crown Center opened Friday morning, but this weekend's weather is anything but winter-like. I would guess that a lot of kids will be spending a lot of time outside this weekend. We need to enjoy this warm up because soon enough it will be cold.
This might be the weekend to put up the Christmas lights. Just watch out for the wind, it'll be strong today, but should lighten up late this afternoon.
We are still forecasting a record high of 79 for tomorrow. This time of year even a few clouds could keep it 4 or 5 degrees cooler. Still that would be nice at 75 degrees, so in other words. Its going to be a great weekend!
