Two degrees of seperation have introduced me to a foundation called the Halo Foundation, an organization helping art liberate orphans.
A friend of mine from college, Candice Loupee, has a friend, Rebecca Welsh, who founded this organization.

The Halo Foundation helps orphans all over the world. They provide food, water, shelter, clothing, education, and art therapy. HALO works with orphanages in Mexico, Uganda, Kenya, Nicaragua, and residential homes in the United States. Children from these homes submit their artwork to be sold at events in the United States to aid in raising funds for continued support.

They hold events throughout the year to help give people like you and me the chance to buy the artwork these children are creating. You buy artwork and the money goes back into the foundation to serve more children.
